About: A deadpan and perpetually tired Kirkwall Guard, who's been around just long enough for the rookie shine to wear off. She was born in Kirkwall, raised in Cumberland for a while by human foster parents, and returned a year before the Inquisition took over the Gallows. She had grown tired of peer pressure to join the Carta and broke away, wanting to do something completely unrelated to that. A friendly acquaintance mentioned joining the guard and she gave it a try in the spirit of 'why the hell not', though underestimated how much of a dumpster fire Kirkwall continues to be. 

 

It's been a rough adjustment, but not enough to have her shy away from accepting patrols in Lowtown or the docks, determined to prove herself to the more seasoned members. She lacks a zealous drive for reform, but hasn't proven to be especially corruptible, either. As far as Runa's concerned, she's there to do here job and she'll keep at it even if it's harder than she thought it would be.
